The team at MainPower wanted to revamp their website to enhance the user experience for both new and returning visitors. They also expressed the need for a more flexible and controllable CMS, making WordPress the logical choice.
In 2023, after partnering with MainPower to boost their digital marketing efforts, we began this website project by conducting in-depth user research. MainPower has multiple audiences visiting their website, ranging from those wanting to check for power outages in their area to network workers needing to apply for consents, as well as individuals applying for new network connections. Through our user research and digital marketing involvement, Limelight gained a comprehensive understanding of the industry and MainPower’s significance in the North Canterbury community. Leveraging these insights, we collaborated with MainPower to implement our findings and enhance the user journey. We accomplished this by focusing on improvements in navigation, content, application forms, and UX design.
The updated website now ensures that essential information is prominently displayed, providing optimal navigation for all visitors.
